Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what this site does and does not collect. It is a free set of Minecraft Locator Bar tools and guides. There are no visitor accounts, nothing is sold here, and you are never asked to register.

Information We Collect

• Nothing you have to give us. There is no sign-up, no login and no payment on this site, so we hold no names, email addresses, passwords or billing details for visitors.
• What you type into the tools. Usernames and UUIDs you enter are used to answer that one request and are not stored or linked to you. See "Username Lookups" below for the one case where a request leaves your browser.
• Standard server logs. Our host records the usual request data — IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp — for security and to keep the site running.
• Cookies set by advertising partners. See "Advertising and Third-Party Cookies" below. We set no advertising cookies of our own.
• Aggregate analytics, if enabled: page-level counts with no attempt to identify individual visitors.

How We Use Your Information

We use the little we have to:

• Serve the pages and tool results you request.
• Keep the site available and defend it against abuse.
• Understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.

We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not use what you type into the tools for anything beyond returning that result.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data reaches third parties only in these cases:

• Mojang, when you look a username up — see "Username Lookups" below.
• Advertising partners, through the cookies described below.
• Our hosting provider, which processes requests on our behalf.
• Legal obligations, where we must respond to a lawful request.

Advertising and Third-Party Cookies

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may serve ads here, and to do so they place and read cookies on your device and use other identifiers such as web beacons and your IP address. These are used to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites, to measure whether an ad worked, and to limit how often you see the same ad.

Username Lookups

The tools on this site accept a Minecraft Java Edition username and resolve it to a UUID using Mojang's public profile API. That request passes through our server only because Mojang's API cannot be called directly from a browser. We do not store the usernames or UUIDs you enter, and we do not associate them with you. The resulting color is computed in your browser.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Because there are no accounts here, in practice there is very little to act on — but if you believe we hold something about you, email us at the address below and we will answer.

For advertising cookies specifically, the opt-out links in the advertising section above are the fastest route, since those choices are held by the vendors rather than by us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
